Mobiles

Hey people .....
I'm writing today and don't know why , I'm thinking now about the thing I'll talk about..
My school is good , but the this week will be full of exams (bad luck)
oh.. I found it.. I'll talk about the thing that most of the guys and teenagers talk about .... THE MOBILES
In january 2004 a moile company was founded in mosul , many people bought the mobile because it was a dream coming true , an Iraqi holding a mobile, in arabic we say :''the fourth of impossibles" .
Day after day, the mobiles began to be more popular , I was among the people who bought ones;
In November of 2004 , the mobile's price decreased to the half, that increased the numbers of the held mobiles, now, you can see the mobiles being sold everywhere, difirrent brands, but in mosul, they like the Nokia more than any other brands.
The mobiles , I think , are cruel too, they are used to bomb the cars which kill the people...and used also by the bad behavior persons to annouy people.

well. nothing new in here...
I have to go now
See you later

The interesting thing about mobiles is that they are called by weird names.. My first one was called a block, because it is too heavy and is not affected by anything. THey second is called baby!

Others are called: The bear, the bear's chick, the tear, Iyad Allawi (Fat and looks like wearing an Abaya) :) And so on..

as Najma said there is alot of names for mobiles.
the people don't call the mobiles with thier own names, I heared someone say : sony anderson while he was talking about sony ericsson , I found that the sony ericsson doesn't look like Pam Anderson
any way..Najma forgot to mention (AL YAWER, THE FOX , AN ORANGE, THE SHARK and finally the bear GRANDSON (it's not me)

Your post prompted me to do an interent search for: mobile phones SMS languages.
I found "Predictive text input for most European languages, Arabic, and Hebrew" for some phones.

Do the mobiles in Iraq use English or Arabic? If so, which language do you use?

ps....Pam Anderson........lol
pps...she was born very close to where I live.

Oops, I meant Al-Yawar, not Iyad Allawi, but I think that was obvious since he's the one with the Abaya.. :)
